Young Energy Europe
Young Energy Europe (YEE) is a project of DIHK Service GmbH, funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN). as part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI).
The goal of the project is to train so-called Energy Scouts, who, over the course of a 4–5 day training, are introduced to topics such as energy and resource efficiency, corporate mobility, and various related areas.
With the knowledge they acquire, the 18–35-year-old participants have a few weeks to develop a project, which they later present and implement within their companies.
Participation is worth it! Not only do the Energy Scouts benefit from the expertise they gain throughout the project duration, but companies also enjoy significant advantages:
By implementing the projects developed by participants, companies can often achieve savings in the five-digit range with an investment of just a few hundred euros – all while contributing to climate protection.
